This perennial wildflower is also called Snowdrops, Starflower, Summer Snowflake, Nap-at-Noon, Dove's Dung. Ornithogalum umbellatum is poisonous, especially the bulb. Sheep and other livestock have been killed by eating this plant. It closes up at night and on cloudy days. Blooming in May
