Pachystachys lutea - Golden Shrimp

Pachystachys lutea - Golden Shrimp (Pachystachys lutea - Golden Shrimp)

My Golden Shrimp is doing well. This area used to be full of them...then I removed most. The snails love to eat all the leaves and flowers in winter. They look like skeletons. Photo taken Oct. 24, 2012.

Meanie:

We do have winter. It does rain and get cold...just not as cold as where you live. :>)

Do the snails die or hibernate in winter where you live?

They do both - more sense than us!

That's good that they die in winter, there. I wish the snails would die here in winter.
