I think this virginia creeper looks great as a fence back drop, just wish i could feed it something to stop it growing, keep the height to a minimum so it doesnt go above the fence!?! =(

What does this fence area look like in winter ?

To be honest my client doesnt like the Virginia creeper, so it has since been removed. Because of the honeysuckle and clematis !

Winter display here is poor on the fence as there is a lot of competition for the soil space. A row of Hebes, then the Viburnum, then the fence. The viburnum we have been treating since last September as it is constantly being munched. It is South facing and the clematis covers both sides of fence but only tends to flower prolifically on one side.spring to autumn. Thinking about a change here especially if the hebes dont come back. Could put some jasminum nudi in for winter but he has this elsewhere...You're right tho, it does need something ?
