I do not know name of this vine but it sure makes a mess on our stucco. Lovely fall color.

It looks like Virginia Creeper - Parthenocissus ..

I just did a google search Hywel. This one is a Japanese creeper( Parthenocissus tricuspidata) aka Boston ivy or Grape ivy, So it is relative to Virginia creeper but it has a grape like leaf and tiny grapes wasps love. I have virginia creeper as well on another retaining wall.

If you read this Katarina.....it is the same vine you were asking about in one of mine past pictures. It is called here Boston Ivy but I did not know that until now.

Thanks Hywel for your assistance

Beautiful colours. I found, that in the region I live there is available for years just one sort - Parthenocissus tricuspidata 'Veitchii', now one of the GC presents news, it is "Golden Wand". Looks very pretty, as all of them.
Yours is thick, that´s nice. Mine is loose.

I like the Gold leaf one as well Katarina. I have not seen it around here though. Just in the pictures on the internet. Ours came with the house. They wanted to cover the retaining wall and it is very attractive. Relatively well behaved.

Sure. These plants create also microclimate to the house/house walls, which works little bit like heat panels.
