There is a variety of passion fruit in Brazil. Here in Rio Grande do Sul, the species has these beautiful flowers, the fruit is orange and the bark harder than the yellow ones, however, the fruit is sweeter and can be consumed in nature

Your welcome Aleyna this plant was the reason I choose Passiflora for a name on the first garden site I ever joined not this one another site. At least you now know there is one growing in a palm house in Leamington Spa near where I live.

Beautiful flower! There's so many varieties that grow here in San Diego. I used to have a large variety 'Nancy' when I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. It grows too fast for me, though. :>))

Delonix, Passion fruit is used in various confectionery recipes in cakes and toppings, cupcakes, and in general cooking, in baked goods, salty sauces, juices and even drinks. And when production is too large we freeze the pulp.

Yes, my neighbor had several varieties growing on their cyclone fence. They used to give me bags of passion fruits and I would freeze them in ice trays. I love the taste of passion fruit! The new neighbors who bought the house let all the vines die.
