I love Chantry Blue. Its not a very slow grower, but it can be pruned.

I’ve pruned mine twice, raising the crown and also cutting out the new shoots in early summer. No harm done.

Really......you must take a photograph of it for me, how long have you had it now? I am always very reluctant to prune Conifers 😳
