Plumeria obtusa 'Singapore' - Singapore Plumeria

A Singapore Plumeria growing next to a house in the Talmage District of San Diego, CA. About 4 year ago this tree was cut back drastically cut back to reveal the window in back...it has finally recovered from the hack job. Photo taken Sept. 9, 2011.

I can, but I won't though... I need to learn that trees are for open spaces not for pots :o)

Plumeria rubra grows very well in pots for many years. It can be kept very small only 3ft/1m for many years. I have some 5ft/1.5m tall plumerias which have been in pots for almost 25 years. They bloom very well in pots, also.

Magnificent plant.
The one we had was planted in soil (not in pot anymore) and bloomed nicely with lovely pink flowers,
Unfortunatelly the old iron gate felt over the plant and it didnt survive.
