If it's doing this now, will it flower again in the spring?

It should bloom again next Spring no problem. Primulas often bloom twice a year. my own primroses are all in bloom now, as are many other members' primulas. This one is lovely!

I would deadhead, though, before the plant tries to concentrate on putting itsd energy into seed dispersal/reproduction, to give the roots and foliage more energy to overcome winter (horrid word, and not so far off, is it? Definitely Autumn here now, eh?

Yes, it really is Autumn David! Thanks for the advice, I will do that. Mind you, there is still plenty of colour in the garden with all the clematis, and if we get some sunshine there will be late roses! Anything to hang on to the colour!
