Although mainly grown for its foliage, this rose carries small 'dog rose' type flowers for a couple of weeks followed by hips in the autumn. This is growing in my foliage garden

I visited another garden in the county this morning and theirs is in flower too. Must be our milder climate in sunny Berkshire!
