Does anybody use the berries and the rest of the plant ?
The juice of the berries is medicine against a bad stommack and infections.Flowers are used as a drink after harvested and cooked. The leafes are used to grow bad scratches on hands or legs.
The vikings used this plant as a pharmacy. The stems was used to make flutes, they are hollow.
Be careful, the plant is poisonous.Do not use seeds.

That's interesting Lujean , I like the sound of the ginger and honey , two of my favourite things ! I didn't know you could get dried Elderberries ... I always make my syrup when the berries are fresh from the trees in the autumn .. .. do you somehow dry your own ?
