Yes, I think some do Tt, but I just let it do it's own thing because in nearly six years it hasnt grown huge only25/30 inches high and 30/35 inches wide. It cheers up the borders during winter. There is another kind which I see more often around these parts S. Hookerii but that has larger leaves and I prefer this one!
