Sarracenia purpurea in the snow

Sarracenia purpurea in the snow (Sarracenia purpurea (Huntsman's cap))

Hope you can make this out. Will post another one in summer. The very small pitcher on the left is from a S. psittacina which is another type.

Hi TT, long time no chat. I'm not too bad thanks. Still taking paracetamol and ibuprofen mixed but no longer using the appalling morphine. I used to hate prescribing it even though it is the only option with some types of pain. Hope nobody's going to flag me for discussing drugs but at least I am chatting about them being used legally, lol.

Dee the Sarracenia purpurea lives right up to the arctic circle, unlike the S. flava which is actually not all that soft, despite being from Southern States, it can take the odd frost. And their cousin, the Darlingtonia californica is from the mountains of North California and loves a bit of chill. Oh and I said above that the S. psitticana is on the left. Must have been the pain killers (again), I mean right, the two little greeny ones.

Hi John ~
That's good to know you aren't needing to pop quite so many pills. That odd cocktail wasn't the best thing for you. Lol. I haven't flagged anyone this year. Did flag someone from the far east around Boxing Day who was trying to infiltrate porn onto GoY. That disappeared FAST. :o)

I truly hope you'll be in less pain this year. TTxxx

What, no pic of Ed in the snow. ? :o)

Ed is more intelligent. He rushes out, does one and then rushes in, nearly knocking down the door. Lol.
