Hi Jeremy. Yes these are commonly available up here and make fabulous pot plants (though they don't like too much water) - even though they are dwarf unbrellas you still wouldn't want to put them in the ground. The umbrellas up here go beserk as you probably know and cause all sorts of havoc to underground water pipes and they can even lift up cement! I planted a dwarf umbrella at my last home and that was a mistake! Best for pots!

Thats really interesting, I have just posted a question about this plant which is getting to rampant in my Spanish garden.
Now I'm a bit worried about it damaging my raised bed!
