Sedum Photo for Surrylad

Sedum Photo for Surrylad (Sedum spectabile (Ice plant))

The first photo is one I left without pinching back the growth during the week of the Chelsea flower show and the second one is the result of pinching back by one third. I think it has benefited from it.

that's quite remarkable Hb, you can see that the second one is more upright and even looks more prolific in it's flowering, i'll do it next year thanks :-)

I agree...what a difference. Both my sedums are quite small at the mo but will keep this in mind for next year when they are a bit bigger

Good idea...:))

It has really improved the look of the whole plant, I have never pinched them out and often despair at how straggly they get, thanks for that tip Homebird, I`ll remember to do that in the future...
