Lots of tomatoes in summer -290811

all sorts of tomatoes: Ailsa Craig, Sungold, Sweet Million, Moruno, Black Russian, Jaune Flammée, Elite and Glacier (most of them growing in the greenhouse). Glacier is ideal for outside.

Great selection, Hilda! Grew Sungold last year and found that it did really well here, indoors. :-)

Yes, a very good year, except for the Black Russian variety: perhaps we've had 6 of those in all ;-(

I do hope so too!
We normally have a big tomato harvest each year.
We try to keep in mind a few things:
enough space between the plants
add a lot of compost to the soil
plant them deep into the soil
plenty of food
water regularly
We don't pinch out that many shoots.
Let's hope you will be able to supply your whole family with lots of tomato puree ;-)
I'll post a few more pictures of our recent tomato plants (from 2012 and 2013).
