You know it well HB! Not quite as strong as it's cousin Hoya, but not far off!

Meanie:

That's strange...typically Madagascar jasmine has a stronger, sweeter fragrance than Hoya species.

You must have gotten some very hot weather. This vine is very common here and needs a lot of heat to bloom well. It blooms most of the year here; however, the vines right now are spectacular because of our horribly hot and humid weather (it doesn't like reflected heat here, though).

Delonix - lack of light and heat maybe? It's cooled down significantly since it started forming buds.................

The heat must have initiated the buds.

As the house is warming up it's getting more fragrant! I'm lighting the fire in the evenings now.

A change in temps may give it the kick up the butt that it needs!

Meanie:

"I'm lighting the fire in the evenings now".

I can't even remotely comprehend lighting a fire! In fact, it's making me feel hot thinking about it...as I have all my five fans going 24/7.

We're experiencing some nice comfortable weather for the last couple of days, it's only been 82ºF (28ºC). Thursday the weather will heat up to 95ºF (35ºC) or hotter and last through most of next week. YUCK! It's suppose to be a drier heat which make it feel more comfortable.
