Feverfew (Tanacetum parthenium).... double

Feverfew (Tanacetum parthenium).... double (Tanacetum parthenium)

Some plants are just refusing to go to sleep.

Formerly Chrysanthemum parthenium.
This is pretty weedy plant. . I like the look of it but dislike the smell and for that reason I do not use it for vase arrangements.

Some people call it the “medieval aspirin” It has natural substances that dilate the blood vessels.

Interesting information. I've heard it's good for migrains. It tastes very bitter.
It was a weed in my former garden but I can't grow it here at all.

I agree about disagreeing with the smell, also that of Pelegoniums.

It's a plant I think is pretty. I grew some (single ones) from seed and it has seeded gently in the garden from a couple of plants. I haven't noticed the scent, I must say!

Thanks for posting, Klahanie. Interesting information too. It a pretty flower, it’s also interesting isn’t it, that some of us like certain fragrances and others don’t. Makes for an interesting life.
