Thanks All. This tree actually likes growing submerged in water, how weird is that.

They grow up to 20 metres under water in the rain forst in the Amazon

Ha ha ha Morgana, I'm glad it has lots of space then.
They must grow quite slow, this has been set for about 5 years and its still only about 4 foot high.

Don't know if this perticular one does but other trees do there, it can't be hurting it as its still alive must like it there.

Its lovely I would love a pond and but no one to do one for me, so I ll make do with my little water feature. I would like a green house too eventually

Stick to the water feature Morgana, much less trouble, ha ha. I inherited my greenhouse from my Dad, luckily, its very old but its a beauty :-)

I ll take your word for it, I thought I would have to have a free standing one anyway as I would nt be able to get down to it lol. I have thought of finding a peace of land and liveing on it and then after so long I can claim it as mine. Like an Irish tramp did, he lived in the woods at the back of a hospital belonged to the national health down london way, He lived there for 20yrs, they sold the hospital to a devloper, and they tried to get him off the land, the courts ruled as he had lived there for 20yrs and it was his home they ordered that the land belonged to the tramp, lol so the developement company lost and ended up with nothing. True story, I typed into the net when I first came on free house and this is what came up. lol
