Garden is clay based Seaburngirl.....with plenty of organic mulches over the past 5 years or so to improve drainage and fertility....go for it!!

I love trilliums alice, but I find they are so hard to get going and I'm not good at leaving soil undisturbed, always poking and digging! I visited Alnwick last year and enjoyed it very much! Keep up the good work!
