Another easy specie tulip, growing to 6 inches. This one will tolerate a little shade.

I planted some of these a few weeks back - I must look out for them tomorrow. They look much better than I thought they would :)

DD - later in the season, when they should all have flowered, I'll write a blog on specie tulips so you can compare them. They are good for early colour in sunny parts of the garden, coming after the crocus.
