Wow! I am intrigued with this idea. do they freeze for a while in the winter? Or do you bring them inside? I live in the states where the winters are very cold. Do you think this would work?

i leave them in the back garden which is very cold, all together against the house wall and they do fine, it would not be wise to place them by themselves or in a more open postion.
