This trough of Pansies on our balcony is just in front of the balcony door so they are the best we see from the door window.

Thank you for your lovely comments, ladies :-)) Most years I have some Pansies or Violas flowering on my balcony.
Apart from the pots on the railings & the troughs on the floor I have 5 hanging baskets full of Pansies as well. I haven't taken any recent photos of them because they aren't very visible as yet.

Its lovely to see as they are at the beginning then when in full flower like a before and after.

They have kept a few flowers open ever since I planted them, even through the snow & ice & the terrible frosts we had during December! :-)) Who could find fault with such plucky little plants?

You could nt I alway s use to pot my little hanging pots up with them as they suffer gladly the winter and a little bit of colour through the winter like you.

That's exactly right! It will be a month or more before I can really see what's in tea baskets, until the plants become bigger but I have many photos of other years when I've grown them in baskets. I'll definitely have to do a blog on Pansies, no doubt about it! :-))
