Bought from a nursery Dd recommended. Really like the apricot flowers with the blue stamens, sophisticated, but frost tender.

Thank Dd, and for the recommendation. Was just starting to flower before we when away, so when I saw corms on sale on Hols, bought a white and a pink, but they could not tell me the species, just kept repeating Watsonia! But since only 70p each, cheaper than an ice cream!

Well how could you not at 70p....I had been looking at them online for some time, as you know we grow quite a lot of NZ plants.....good luck with them..

Apparently they will start making roots in Autumn, but I have put them in individual pots 4" down and watered the compost lightly.

Very pretty. I planted some Watsonia 2 years ago and it never bloomed. Mine is yellow , if I remember correctly.
