could i move and prune a honey suckle plant now

my neighbour is moving house and they have a beatiful honey suckle plant in the garden they have told me i can have it but will it die if i dig it up and move it

you would have to prune it hard back and transplant it to its new home asap. dig as much of the rooball with lots of soil as you can manage.
by pruning it back hard to about 2-3 ft you will help reduce waterloss. keep it moist and tie the remainng stem[s]in to help prevent wind rock.
