AQUILEGA SEEDS

I have been given some Aquilega seeds from two friends.....A nice wine coloured one and a deep purple one....could you please tell me should i sow these now?...If so, can i plant them in a seed tray and if yes....do i keep them indoors...covered or not...OR... outside...covered or not..???? thanks

they should be popping up in about 3-4 weeks but if it remains very hot and dry they will take longer. if they are in pots/trays dont forget to keep watering them.

do you mean snap dragon or aqueligea? they are different plants. Aqueligea are grannies bonnets etc and have finished flowering now. snapdraggons are antirhinum and are doing their thing now.
going by the colours i suspect they are aqueligeas. sow now in trays/pots and leave in a cold frame etc. uncovered. if you know where you want them to grow in your garden scatter the seed now and leave. they may not come up true from seed, but you will get some nice variations.
