leaf loss

my weeping willow keeps dropping its leafs & its always a yellow color ,its in full sun ,i trimmed it down early this year could this be the problem -thanks

Weeping willows are usually situated by lakes and ponds/streams as they like to be by water and like slightly damp feet, I would hazzard a guess that it is the dry spell we are having that is causing it to turn yellow, especially if it is not near water in your garden.
