I bought it under the general label of 'potted colour' and I really like it. I don't know if it's possible to propagate???

Isn't it annoying when plants are labelled so ambigously? How can you look after them properly when they are called 'potted colour' or 'foliage plant'?

This is Salvia Splendens or Red Salvia or Scarlet Sage. It is indigenous to Brazil where it is a perennial but is treated as an annual in more temperate regions. It is possible to save the seed from this plant and sow them next spring for summer flowers.
