This year was very bad for growing most veg. These need a long growing season and like to be firmly planted.

I'm curious.....Why did you have to throw them away?

I know crops generally this year have been undersized, but what grew in most cases, were equally as tasty as their bigger brothers!

At least that is how I found things!

We're yours a complete failure or diseased?

What variety were they?

I also grew Calabrese and had some success, but they're a VERY large plant for little return! I don't think I'll be bothering again - particularly as Spain has moved on from the hardly-ever-found sad floppy effort in supermarkets 8 years ago, to many large crisp heads bursting off the shelf now. :o)

Thanks for your replys folks.
I may have been a bit inpationt,but
I had plenty of outher stuff to use,
the Calabrese was the only thing that failed.
I do use enviromesh for Carrots, & this year I
used it on my Onions, as last year the Onion fly
had them all .The Calabrese was called Montery F1
