Can I grow my large Dracena outdoors?

I have recently moved and love my plant but the house is not large enough to accommodate it in addition to my numerous other plants! I am hoping that it is possible to grow this outdoors year round in South Yorkshire if I keep it protected as much as possible in the winter by either wrapping it and covering the roots. Or is this not advisable? Please help!

I think they manage to grow Dracaena draco outdoors at the Chelsea Physic Garden but that's a walled garden in Central London and even then, I'm not 100% they don't move or give them special treatment. I'd guess you probably have D. marginata or sanderiana but I haven't heard of them being hardy either.

There are many plants in the Dracaena category, but i don't know of one that will survive a winter outside in this country.
