My OH has a Brugmansia which has done really well this year. Please can anyone tell me what to do with it over winter? It is in an unheated greenhouse at the moment, but we understand it should be cut down and put into a dark, frostfree environment. How much do we cut down and would the garage be suitable for storage. Advise please! Many Thanks.

Cut it down to around 6" (150mm) from the soil and it should be OK in a garage providing it is frost free!
You could put an upturned bucket filled with straw, shredded paper or fleece to give just that bit extra protection.
