l have in the garden a cordyline 'australis' pink! the plant

yorkshire, United Kingdom

has thrived over the last 5/6 years and is healthy. l now see that a shoot has formed at the base and was wondering how do l remove this to grow it seperate in the garden ?

You need to try to remove it with a bit of root attached and then pot it up.
