My rhubarb is very poor, everyone else I know has a terrific crop and they insist that it just grows on its own with absolutely no effort. What's wrong with mine? I thought I had quite good soil, everything else grows well in the garden including tons o

I live in West Lothian and have tried a couple of places in the garden over the years to find the best light etc, but still no luck with the rhubarb

Only thing I can think of is this - when you first got it, did you plant and leave it alone for a full year before trying to pull or crop any of it for cooking? And the same after you'd moved it?
