people keep asking if we have potato blight we think they have natually wilted as they are finished growing how can we tell which it is thanks

the leaves are yellow but the potaoes are firm with odd hole from slogs worm etc.

Gardenshed sounds like the normal die back of the tattie shaws to me. We cut the shaws off our potatoes a couple of weeks ago and will harvest before the end of the month.

The stems of the spud plants will be black in large patches towards the base, spreading upwards on the stem. But spuds are starting to die down now any way so that may explain it.
