Growing Potatoes

I came on this site because I wanted to grow potatoes and know timescales for planting/harvesting. I planted some ‘tatty’ ones I had in the veg basket as a laugh really. My husband bought some ‘proper’ seed potatoes and planted two huge containers. I had only a couple in a small container but wow I got a lovely crop. Unfortunately, my poor husband got about 10 marble sized and he was quite devastated. Not sure what went wrong, lack of sunshine and watering (a tip given on here by Moon_Grower – Thank you) So will take advice. move large containers next year, and ensure they are watered well !!!!!!!
