Why are my marrow's and Butternut Squashes going yellow/brown and dropping off?

i have had 2 large marrows from my plant but the rest are turning yellow and mushy brown and dropping off - the same is happening with my squash plant's-they are in the same homemade veg box along with my Tom's and have a Top Soil and Horse Manure soil mix-help!

i had the same problem its euther slugs or they are getting to wet as soon as you see a squash forming gently place on a bed of straw or similar hope this helps
