Grape Hyacinths

Now that my grape hyacinths have bloomed, can I cut the green foliage and stems down short ? I usually let them just stay, but my flower beds would look better to cut them if possible.

You can cut off the flowering stems if you don't want them to self seed. But leave the leaves until they go brown - this is how the bulb receives its food to repeat the flowering next year
