Wait till October, cut out all the old wood to 6inches above the ground. By which time the new canes will be growing. Mulch up with well rotted manure. Water the ground with Armillatox in December. Keep spray from your rose off the green leaves and young canes. Spray for Raspberry fly and aphids in March, dress round the canes with Blood, fish and Bone.
