Fuchsias by post to Spain?

Alicante, Spain

When I lived in the UK I used to regularly buy Fuchsia 'plugs' by Post. Can I do the same thing and have them shipped to mainland Spain?
As with most plants it is very hard to buy named varieties!
Your thought appreciated :-)
Chris.

I don't know, but you could have a look at internet suppliers and see if they'll deliver to Spain for some extra dosh.

Some suppliers deliver abroad ands should state whether they do at the time of asking for address. The P+P will probably be more. Seeds can defo be sent abroad, but plants need import numbers etc. best to find plugs and ask the company

I'm in the same position, Fenclare, and have trawled the internet looking for garden plant by mail suppliers in Spain, but they don't seem to exist! Plenty of the known British suppliers will post abroad but it will cost an arm and a leg, ie: David Austin Roses wanted more for postage than one rose cost in the first place! Consequently I grow most things from seed but - as you say - named varieties are hard to come by. I also get cuttings from my Spanish neighbours, but they only grow the "usual" varieties of plants. If it's "specials" you want you'll have to sell your soul!

How do I say thanks?
