can i collect sweet pea pods and replant

Remember if you let them set pods you will have less flowers the more you cut sweetpeas the more flowers.

A few weeks ago I collected & sowed some Sweetpea seeds from the plants that were growing on my balcony. They have germinated & I've planted them into some tubs that will spend all winter outside.

All my sweetpeas this year were from last year's plants and they were lovely. Also had lots of marigolds, nasturtiums, nicotiana, viola, pansies and lupins from collected seeds - oh and lots of poppies and nigella.
There were also a lot of sunflowers, but I think that had more to do with the birds than anything I planted.
