I have just obtained a Red Banana Plant what should i feed it and does it require ant special care

You can get Foliage house plant food. It needs a frost free warm place through out winter, above 10 degrees C. Keep it watered and dont ket it dry out too much. The leaves will benfit from a wipe occasionally to remove any dust build up and give it the occasional mist esp if you have central heating in the conservatory and bananas are form humid areas, and alos it will be less likely to suffer from pests if the atmosphere is kept humid (from an odd mist but not constant) rather than dry and warm
