It's a "tiddler" that I would be happy with!

Banana trees grow really well here. Mostly more inland....the strong winds off the sea damage the leaves.

Thanks Meanie!
Alex, I bet bananas grow well in Greece, and you don't have to bring them indoors over winter. Why not give it a go?! Wind-blown leaves can be quite nice and atmospheric :)

After your pictures Tommymoo.....I took a walk up the road to look for some offshoots. Found some but need hubby's help. Otherwise....I know a lot of people with Banana trees.....Picture soon...;o)))

There's a Banana tree in a Courtyard Opposite the GC that I go to, and it's brought out each Spring, and it's huge, disappears every Autumn...and also a huge Agarve...

I often see hardy banana 'Musa Basjoo' in France but I've never seen other bananas like the red one in this picture. I wonder the banana tree near your GC is Musa Basjoo or not.. Blue agaves are also common there..
