Welcome to GoY Nigel. I'll second Ian's comment. I haven't bought bean seeds for about seven years now. Just mind that the snails don't harvest them before you do!

Hi Nigel, welcome to GoY. The simple answer is yes, leave the beans on the vine until they are big and fat and have turned brown, then pick and pod them and put them somewhere cool and dry until spring. Best of luck mate..... Ian
