Phlox paniculata doesn't creep - its an upright perennial. Not sure what you're asking, Shiela

To the best of my knowledge Phlox paniculata is not a creeping plant but an upright border perennial. I'm not aware of a creeping phlox.

Well there is a creeping phlox - its called Phlox stolonifera, but it doesn't mean "curly"

To be specific ... the technical name for a creeping plant in this country is a 'trepadeira' ........ ie, climbing or trailing plant ......
