is there anywhere in the uk you can buy environmently friendly spray paint for heathers?

we have bought some painted heathers with vibrant colours and are finding it hard to find anywhere that does this paint. is there any alternative?

Its normally just food colouring, which is why it washes off eventually.
Its probably a commercial one sparyed on at nursery i would think! Water basesd would wash off, and any other stuff would probably kill the plant
