Hi, I'm thinking it could be a Solanum laciniatum which I had years ago .... it's mature leaves were 'fingered' and it's new leaves not. They self-seed easily ... especially by birds!!!

If it has irridescent purple flowers with yellows centers, then that's it .... if not .... it's not!!!!

Or could be a hellebpr, but bit late if it was, to be flowering now!

my guess would be an heleborus, dont quite think the fingers are right for the solanum.

I don't believe its the solanum either, but I'm damned if I know what it is... be interesting to see IF flowers open on it - the modified leaves at the top are almost like bracts...

is it a heleborous foetida? mine are in bed now ready for late autumn / early winter. but some of the leaves look wrong too.
