Yuo can cut the old leaves off hellibores whenever they are getting tatty looking and are upsetting you. We tidied some of ours a while ago, others will be done before winter.

Normally it is recommended that you remove the old leaves in early Spring as they do provide some protection for the new growth over winter. Certainly in a cold area like ours we do them in late Feb.

How do I say thanks?
