Hi, can anyone tell me, if it's possible to sow the seeds of Hellebore (winter sunshine) and if so how do you go about it?
Also can any one tell me, how to take cuttings from Angelica (gigas) or do I wait for it flower and then collect the seeds.
Thanks

Thanks Owdboggy, I'll give it a go and see what happens, nothing ventured nothing gained!

Hellebore seeds are best sown fresh from the plants when they are ripe. Ordinary seed compost, cover with a cm. of compost and leave the pot somewhere safe. No heat required. They will germinate in Spring (if they are going to) Watch out for mice they eat the seeds.
Angelica is propagated from seeds.
