i agree I'd wait until spring. If they conjestedroots you could always pot them on and keep in a sheltered spot.

I move foxgloves around my garden in autumn & they always grow & flower in the spring. If they are small plants they just flower later. Of course I'm meaning the ordinary pink ones tho' I have some nice white ones too,no fancy varieties .Don't know if they are more sensitive to cold or not. Feverfew.

How big are the plug plants? Foxgloves are hardy but if they are seedling size then a cold frame or protected sheltered spot will be perfect.
