Is it too late to plant Daffodil bulbs, We haven't got any frost or snow at the moment :o)

I agree, they are not going to do anything unplanted so get them in the ground. Ideally daffodils should be planted August/September time. Make sure to feed them well after flowering so they are able to produce the following years flower bud.

Sept-Dec is the window, earlier for Daffs to allow some root growth. They may flower later than earlier planted bulbs but that is a good thing.

I agree with Kildermorie, and really the others. Get them in ASAP and you may get away with it. I once planted some in the week before Christmas and they bloomed late, but they did appear.

Put them in pots if you must but NOT in the greenhouse... they need to be outside experiencing the changes in temperature to flower.

Next question
It's probably too late, but it's worth a try - they certainly won't do anything unplanted :o) Tulips would be OK, but daffs might not come to anything. Give it a go and see!
