At what time of the year do they stop growing or don't they every stop just slow down. I say this because it seems to be still growing as I have noticed the centre tip has got alittle higher since I last looked.

A lot of plants are still growing here in the South - I have a Canna on the balcony which is just producing another flower, and a gladioli that burst into bloom 3 days ago. As the days shorten and the weather gets colder, growth will pause for a while, but life is irrepressible really - it'll always grow whenever it gets a chance!
